Former footballer. Gravel racer. National champion.
Fuelled by endurance, driven by challenge.
I'm Lizzie — from Blackpool, Lancashire. After a career in football, I transitioned to cycling and quickly progressed through the amateur ranks before joining DAS-Hutchinson, a UCI Continental team, where I competed at World Tour level — including the Tour de Suisse and Dwars door Vlaanderen.
In September 2025, in only my third-ever gravel race, I became British National Gravel Champion — overtaking Olympic triathlete Georgia Taylor-Brown on the final climb of a 113km, 2,200m-elevation course in Dalby Forest, North Yorkshire. That result opened a new chapter: 2026 is dedicated entirely to gravel.
My former coach Sean Yates introduced me to gravel riding and the rest is history. For 2026, I'm working with Jacob Tipper at JT Performance Coaching — my physiology and mindset are built for long, hard days. The tougher the challenge, the more alive I feel.
2026 is a dedicated gravel season. The goal: compete among the world's best at the biggest events on the global gravel calendar, defend the national title, and represent partners with every ride. These events align perfectly with my strengths — endurance, technical skill, and consistency under pressure.
Training is the season. In 2026, Lizzie has already covered more than 8,900km — including an altitude camp in Spain's Sierra Nevada ahead of the Traka 560, a Rapha Festive 500 in December, and consistent 200km+ training weeks throughout the year. The numbers below are live from Strava.
I'm proud to work with brands that share my values of performance, quality, and authenticity. Each partner plays a vital role in making the 2026 season possible. If you're interested in joining this journey, I'd love to hear from you.
